The short version

Perdia keeps your health and habit data yours. We don’t sell it, we don’t use it for advertising, and the health data we read from Apple Health is used only to show you your own progress.

Who we are

Perdia (“Perdia”, “we”, “us”) is a personal habit-tracking app for iOS, built and operated by Jesse Webber, an Australian sole trader (ABN 88 605 632 079). This policy explains what information the app handles, how, and the choices you have. It applies to the Perdia app and this website.

What we collect

  • Your habits & activity in the app — the habits you track, your check-offs, streaks and goals. This is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced privately through your own iCloud account.
  • Health data (optional) — with your permission, Perdia reads activity, steps and sleep from Apple Health to complete habits automatically. You can decline this and use the app manually.
  • Purchase information — if you subscribe to Perdia Pro, our payments provider records that a purchase happened so we can unlock features. We never see your card details.
  • Basic diagnostics — anonymous crash and performance data to help us fix bugs. This contains no health information.

You can use Perdia without creating an account.

Apple Health data

Health data accessed through Apple HealthKit is used only to display your habit progress inside the app. In line with Apple’s requirements, this data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties. It stays on your device (and your private iCloud, if enabled) and is not sent to our servers.

How we use your information

  • To show your habits, streaks and daily progress.
  • To send the reminders and nudges you turn on.
  • To provide and unlock features you purchase.
  • To diagnose problems and improve the app.

What we never do

  • We never sell your personal or health data.
  • We never use your health data for advertising.
  • We don’t run third-party ad trackers in the app.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers strictly to run the app: Apple (App Store, iCloud, HealthKit) and our subscription-management provider for processing purchases. They handle data only as needed to provide their service.

Your choices & rights

  • Revoke Perdia’s access to Apple Health any time in iOS Settings › Health.
  • Turn notifications on or off in iOS Settings.
  • Delete your data by deleting the app; if iCloud sync was on, remove Perdia’s data in iOS Settings › iCloud.
  • Request help or data questions any time at [email protected].

Children

Perdia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we’ll revise the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
